Charleston, West Virginia, was once affectionately known as “The Rose City,” a nickname that reflected the community’s pride in its beauty, growth, and classic charm. In the early to mid-20th century, Charleston earned its reputation for lush gardens, tree-lined neighborhoods, and a flourishing civic spirit that celebrated craftsmanship and timeless design. The rose became a local symbol of refinement and care—a reminder that attention to detail and dedication to beauty could transform an entire city.

Rose City Kitchen & Bath draws inspiration from that legacy. Our name honors Charleston’s history of elegance and artistry while reflecting our own commitment to thoughtful design, enduring quality, and spaces that stand the test of time.

Cory Stout, Principal

Cory Stout has been an experienced interior designer in the industry since 2010 and is passionate about creating beautiful kitchens and bathrooms. With a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Charleston in West Virginia, a keen eye for detail, and a love for technology, he specializes in designing functional yet creative and aesthetically pleasing solutions for clients. From floor plan redesigns to ADA-focused projects and ergonomic designs, he is committed to finding innovative solutions that meet each client's individual needs and preferences. With an unwavering dedication to excellence, he strives to turn imagination into reality, creating spaces that are a dream come true.

Jennifer Meeks-Boggess, Studio Manager

Jenny’s been crafting beautiful spaces for 15 years, starting in the tile world and growing into a passion for kitchen and bath design. As an associate designer and showroom manager, she pairs hands-on experience with a deep understanding of client needs and product solutions. Whether it’s choosing the perfect finish or geeking out over Schluter products, Jenny brings warmth, know-how, and a designer’s eye to every project. A proud West Virginia native, Jenny’s life is full of love—shared with a partner and a few furry companions. Outside of work, she loves to travel, read, and experiment in the kitchen.
